Ok, it's been way too long since I posted anything, so I am back.  I am receiving more and more calls and emails regarding layoffs.  Why is this happening all of a sudden?  Yes, I hear the media.  Is it all because of banks?  Or the lack of integrity in the banking industry?  Unemployment is rising. Often people think if people are unemployed that is good for our business. Not so, 85% of the people we represent are happily employed people.  People not looking for a new job, but if the right position should come to them, they might just take a look.  You see we aren't a quick fix for employment.  If companies are laying off that means there aren't as many positions.  We might work with someone 2-4 weeks before we place them or it could take up to 3-4 years before the perfect job comes along for for them.  So please, if you are unemployed, understand that recruiters won't be able to fix your problem necessarily.  What we can do is help you market yourself giving you tips and tools how to do so.  We want to help all people that comes to us, but it just isn't possible.
