Another day of recruiting in a down economy....

I truly enjoy recruiting, helping people find positions they only thought were in their dreams. But in this economy it is ever so challenging. Companies often prefer not to use a recruiter when so many are on the streets. What I try to do is position myself with companies to know that I have no problem taking on the more difficult searches for them. You know the position, the person has to have a certain background and skill set, and require the right salary and will live in their area. Piece of cake right? No. Since 9/11 people are cautious about moving their families. Priorities are different. Rightfully so, but I need to make money too! Be a little flexible! Anyway, I still enjoy talking to new people and helping them realize their dreams!
